The tours might sometimes have the character of expeditions.

With all clarity it has to be said that, at least for the coping of the longer walks, one has to have a good physical condition and ability to walk cross-country. There are steep ascents and slippery river crossings. Crossing a river by balancing over a trunk is a common exercise.
